Massive improvements under way

We are listing thousands of new product lines, and some stock updates may be in progress as you place your order. Please therefore, wait for a second "order accepted email", sent to you by the founder, and not by the positivity pixies, for acknowledgement that preparation for dispatch is in progress...

... Okay, buy why?...

We are aware that our delivery schedule has not be in line with industry standards.  This has been because we do not own our own warehouse, nor have the financial backing of investors to cover the costings between orders placed, and customer payment reaching and clearing our account. Therefore we have outsourced these services, yet have have remained true to our vales by selecting suppliers and warehousing that offer ethical services and fairly traded products, instead of choosing the most commercially viable option. This combination has affected our speed....

...Whilst our core customer base still prefers us to operate a "values first" operational plan, we recognise that in these times of "same day dispatch" and "delivery in 3 days", newer customers often don't refer to our delivery times, under the assumption that we will offer a standardised service, and this could be disappointing...

...We have now achieved a vital stage in our business plan,( in only 13 months), where we can make changes to our logistics, offer more products from the same, ethical suppliers, in a faster a more effective way, as we move towards a 7 day delivery schedule. This involves the removal and replacement of 6.000 product listings on our website, updating details, and updating inventory (available stock) numbers as we go. This could cause some complications as the item availability showing on our website flexes and changes whilst you browse and place your order.

We know however, that our core customer base are still excited that this will lead to them receiving their products faster once completed, and that new customers from that point, will receive their orders within a timeframe they are more used to elsewhere!

May I take this opportunity to give my sincere gratitude, for each customer that moved us from that single sale of a wax melt in a little facebook group, to our own website, hosting live sales, carrying renowned brands such as Weleda, Tisserand and Cytoplan, to our own product sourcing and development and 6,000 product lines, within 13 months, all from one small room, but with a big vision, and even mightier intentions!
