Astrophyllite, also known as "Firework stone" is a visually stunning crystal, consisting of starbursts of potassium, sodium, iron, manganese, and titanium silicate. With wide colour-ways, ranging from golden yellows, to blues and blacks, the flashing blades within dictate it's nickname! Although originally discovered in 1844, it was not officially grouped and given it's name until ten years later, in 1944. A bringer of light, this stone is a must-have for anyone's collection!
Astrophyllite is a high frequency light bringer. It reveals the hidden and cleanses the negative. It is a favourite amongst those practicing shadow work because of this, coupled with it's ability to bring objectivity to our perceptions. It is useful to strengthen the aura and protect it from infiltration or spiritual attachment. When used in meditation practices, it can help keep the user connected to earth whilst still enhancing spiritual awareness, communications, and understanding
