What does Chrysoprase do, what are it's benefits and how can we use it?

Chrysoprase healing crystals come from America, Russia, Brazil, Tanzania, Poland, Madagascar, South Africa and Australia and it's colour ranges from a lemonish colour, to a deep apple green. It can have an opaque quality to it and often shows flecking in its appearance. It is a Chalcedony member of the quartz group and is high in Nickel, which can be seen frequently in those flecks.. It has a hardness rating of 7 and a hexagonal structure, and although often found in smaller stones these days, it is still relatively easy to identify.

A stone of the heart, it's colour speaks of natural healing and connection to nature., as well as spring, bringing in growth and ripening promises. The name “chrysoprase” comes from two Greek terms: chrysos, meaning “golden,” and prason, meaning “leek,” after its radiance and green colour. It's use as a gemstone can be evidenced as far back as 400bc in ancient Greece and we can trace it's mining back to Poland in 14th Century. Medieval Romanian lore claimed chrysoprase gave one understanding of lizard language, based on a local legend.
