Apatite is a Calcium Phosphate, which name comes from the Greek word for "deceive", as it is easily mistaken for other minerals due to the amount of variety found in it's colours and textures, making it often difficult to identify correctly. Although found in yellow, brown, grey or colourless forms, the most popular specimens for metaphysical use are blue, green, and gold, which we will look at here.
