Interesting facts:
- The lemon tree was brought to Europe in the 12th century by the crusaders
- The tree is a member of the Rutaceae family.
- Because of its high - limonene content we recommend that oxidation of lemon oil is avoided by storage in a dark, airtight container in a refrigerator. The addition of an antioxidant to preparations containing it is recommended.
